mouz breeze past HR to book playoffs spot, Cloud9 out at the hands of G2
mousesports have comfortably dealt with HellRaisers 2-0 (Mirage 16-5, Nuke 16-8) to advance to Group B's upper bracket final, while Cloud9 have been eliminated from the tournament at the hands of G2 in Group B's lower bracket semi-final.
mousesports and HellRaisers began the fight for a playoffs spot on Mirage, where Finn "karrigan" Andersen kicked things off with a quad-kill and continued to put up solid numbers alongside Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, with the two veterans leading their team to a comfortable defensive half.
With 12 rounds to their name upon halftime, mousesports didn't take long to lock down the first map 16-5 after winning a second-round forcebuy off a Deagle triple-kill from Robin "ropz" Kool.
Starting on the T side of Nuke, mousesports were poised to take a quick 2-0 victory after a 7-1 start. HellRaisers stepped up in the late stages of the half to add five rounds to their tally, but an early back-and-forth in the second half ended with karrigan's team on top, booking a spot in the playoffs with a comfortable 16-8 finish.

In Group A's lower bracket semi-finals, Cloud9 and G2 locked horns on Inferno, at first. The North American side mounted a great offense on the opening map, with the Frenchmen unable to string rounds together and only managing to put up four rounds.
That ended up being enough, however, as Cloud9 struggled to find any footing on the CT side, with G2 putting together an incredibly dominant half on the back of great play from François "AmaNEk" Delaunay to secure the opening map at 16-12.
Overpass followed, once again with Maikil "Golden" Selim's team putting together the better first half despite an unsuccessful start, this time starting on the defense. They extended their one-round advantage at the beginning of the second half, which saw Cloud9 cop the pistol round and string four in a row, but a halfbuy win with a saved AWP from G2 turned the tide.
From that point on, Timothy "autimatic" Ta & co. couldn't find a way to penetrate the defense, as Lucas "Lucky" Chastang and Kenny "kennyS" Schrub combined great efforts to go on a 9-1 streak, ending the series at 16-13, 2-0, to see off the North American team.
