WESG 2019 Southeast Asia qualifiers announced
WESG has announced the first details about the Southeast Asia qualifiers for WESG 2019.
The qualifier will feature a total of ten contestants, determined via national qualifiers that will be held in the following countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Registration for the qualifiers in Laos and Cambodia will close on Thursday, July 25, while in the remaining countries, the signup period will expire at the end of the month.
The dates and venue for the Southeast Asia Finals, featuring a $105,000 prize pool across four tournaments (CS:GO for men's and women's teams, Dota 2 and Starcraft), have not yet been disclosed. The WESG officials have also not announced how many teams will qualify for the main event, which will be held in March 2020.
