zews to replace coldzera at BLAST Pro Series LA, IEM Chicago
MIBR coach Wilton "zews" Prado will be the team's fifth player at BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles and IEM Chicago, replacing Marcelo "coldzera" David, HLTV.org has learned.
The news follows an HLTV.org report revealing that coldzera had asked to be moved to the bench as he felt he needed a change and a new challenge in his career after almost four years with the team.
coldzera was initially supposed to attend two more events with MIBR, this weekend's BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles and next week's IEM Chicago, but following a team meeting held on Tuesday, it was decided that zews will be playing for the team in the near future.

MIBR's lineup situation for the StarLadder Major remains unclear at this point. With the roster lock having come into effect on June 25, the team can only submit a replacement for coldzera in the event of an emergency, such as a health problem or visa issues. Contacted by Mais Esports, a StarLadder official guaranteed that a player leaving a team does not constitute an emergency.
On Instagram, coldzera refuted claims that he rejected to play the Major with the team, adding that it was his teammates who did not want him to play at the showpiece event.
MIBR will face Renegades, FaZe, NRG, Liquid and Cloud9 in the round-robin stage of BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles, kicking off on Saturday at 20:00 . This will be the team's second event with Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles, who was signed from Luminosity in a loan deal that will run until the end of the Major.
The Brazilian team will attend their next two events with:
Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo
Fernando "fer" Alvarenga
Epitacio "TACO" de Melo
Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles (loan)
Wilton "zews" Prado (stand-in)
