NAF wins BLAST Pro Series LA MVP award
Keith "NAF" Markovic was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles by HLTV.org and betway.
The Canadian player scooped the award after leading Liquid to their fifth title of the year with an impressive 1.40 rating, his highest-ever at a Big Event.
NAF, who was Liquid's top performer on five of the nine maps that the team played in Los Angeles, was the frontrunner in the race for the MVP award heading into the last day of the event and did not disappoint in the playoffs (1.23 rating), capping a superb individual tournament with a jaw-dropping pistol ace on Inferno against FaZe.
He was top of the pile in eight stats categories besides rating, including ADR (97.0), kills per round (0.84) and opening duel success (70.2%), and featured in the top five in five other leaderboards, most notably KAST (77.6%).
It is the fifth time NAF has been the recipient of an MVP award in his career. He won his first four at SL i-League Invitational Shanghai 2017 (while with Renegades), cs_summit 2, SuperNova CS:GO Malta and iBUYPOWER Masters 2019.
