CR4ZY through to StarLadder Major over North
The consolidation final saw North take on CR4ZY for a guaranteed spot at the Major. The series commenced on Mirage, where the Danish defence was able to secure an immediate 3-0 lead, with Jakob "JUGi" Hansen picking up a Famas quad kill in round two. CR4ZY secured their first round off the back of a mixed buy, assuming the driver's seat going forward. Outstanding individual performances from CR4ZY, including back-to-back quad kills for Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, and a 1v3 clutch from Otto "ottoNd" Sihvo, were crucial in furthering the international mix roster to a 10-5 T side conclusion, as North struggled to hold the offense off.
Having assumed the defence, CR4ZY continued their impressive form, securing the first two rounds of the latter half. Faced with a 2v3 situation on North's first T-side rifle round the roster opted to save, proceeding to dominate on the defence afterward. This showing persisted all the way to map point, and after Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså single-handedly secured his team their last round with a 4k, CR4ZY closed out Mirage with a confident 16-7 score.
Dust 2 followed, where CR4ZY commenced on the CT side of affairs. A two-round lead was ensured by the international roster, witnessing an ace for nexa in the latter round, three frags of which were thanks to a well-placed HE grenade. The squads went blow for blow after the exciting start, shortly after which North were able run away with a string of rounds, assuming a 5-3 lead off the back of a force buy victory. CR4ZY reassumed control of proceeding in the majority of the remaining rounds, in no small part thanks to outstanding multi-frags from nexa and Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač, conceding but a single-digit to produce a 9-6 CT lead.
The latter half kicked off to a strong start for CR4ZY, who convincingly accrued rounds past the defence's first full buy, gradually extending their position closer and closer to a consecutive map victory. nexa ensured map point with a stellar quad kill, converting a 1v2 situation in the process. The international mix left North no chance at a comeback, concluding the map and series with a 16-6 score on Dust2.
