Copenhagen Flames add Nodios
Copenhagen Flames announced yesterday that two of its starting five players were being put on the bench due to poor results following the departure of Dennis "sycrone" Nielsen, HooXi—who took up leading after sycrone's departure—and Console.
Nodios will take over one of the two empty spots left in the roster after the benchings of HooXi and Console. The 20-year-old most notably played in GoldenGitte with the likes of Rene "TeSeS" Madsen and Rasmus "sjuush" Beck, who are now in OpTic and Tricked, as well as in ex-Fragsters after the departures of Ismail "refrezh" Ali and Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen. Nodios now joins after he was bought out of his contract with Maknitude.
One more player is expected to be brought on soon in order for Copenhagen Flames to make the upcoming ECS Pinnacle Cup open qualifiers, of which the first one of four is already underway.
The statement from the organization reads:
"We are extremely happy to welcome Nodios to the Flames family. We've been keeping an eye on him for a while, and after talks with him, we were sure that he was the right fit for us. In the couple of practices we've played, he has already shown great tactical knowledge, and the ability to keep his head calm in hectic situations. We look forward to Nodios representing us in official matches, and help us achieve our goals in the future."
