enkay J joins Sprout as coach
enkay J played for some notable German teams during the early days of CS:GO, including Wild Fire, PENTA and ALTERNATE aTTaX.
In 2016, he became an analyst and worked for mousesports, Envy and G2. At the end of 2018, he turned to coaching, leading ALTERNATE aTTaX to titles at ESL Meisterschaft Spring 2019 Finals and at the Esportal Global Finals during his ten months at the helm.
"The moment tow b told us that he was going to look for a different opportunity, we instantly knew that enkay J was our top pick and that we should get him as fast as we could," Sprout player Nils "k1to" Gruhne told HLTV.org.
"He has a lot of experience from previous teams, like G2 and ALTERNATE aTTaX, and he’s the perfect addition for us.
"We already practiced with him in the last couple of days, and I am happy with the way he approaches different aspects of the game and the way he has brought those elements into the team in the short amount of time he has been with us."
enkay J will have a baptism of fire as a Sprout coach as the team will take part in the ESL Pro League Season 9 relegation tournament, scheduled for August 17-18. He will make his first LAN appearance with the squad at Games Clash Masters, in Gdynia, a $100,000 tournament scheduled for September 20-22.
With this move, Sprout now have:
Niclas "enkay J" Krumhorn (coach)
