Liquid kick Major run off with win over CR4ZY

Liquid beat CR4ZY 16-9 with a near-flawless CT side on Mirage to move into the 1-0 pool after their first match in Berlin.

The match between Liquid and CR4ZY started out with bouts of instability as the North Americans couldn’t follow up on their pistol round win on the attacking side of Mirage. They were, however, able to win a forcebuy on the third round to regain their lead, 2-1. Having gone up 4-1, CR4ZY were able to tie it back up, unintimidated by Liquid, but the North Americans would go on to take the lead once again the following round. Nick "nitr0" Cannella and company only kept their advantage momentarily, however, as CR4ZY kept pushing to win the half 8-7.

Liquid didn't give CR4ZY a chance in the second half

Three kills by Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken in the second pistol round helped Liquid bring it back to a tie, and eventually regain their lead after winning the anti-eco. CR4ZY then got one of their own with guns, but Liquid took charge on the CT side and denied the European team any space to dictate the pace on the attacking side. Having only given up that one round in the second half, Liquid closed it out 16-9.

When Liquid loses their pistol, that's REALLY when teams should get nervous lmao.
2019-08-28 21:55
Your point kind of makes every other team look very trashy and worthless just so you know. You're basically saying Liquid is just pugging and literally owning everyone else out there (with strats).

CR4ZY is actually pretty good with this lineup. I see them above mibr, ,NiP, DreamEaters and AVANGAR at least at the moment. They are tier 2
2019-08-28 17:07
I'm surprised you're actually undermining CR4ZY right now. They're actually a lot better than you think. Could easily beat MIBR, NIP, and upset other top tier teams.

I don't think so, letn1 being bad at one tournament doesn't mean he is bad... After all, this is a major, their first major, there is a lot of pressure and nervousness, it all goes away with experience, they just need to.stick together
