mousesports beat North to enter 1-1 pool in Berlin

mousesports have secured a 1-1 record in the New Legends Stage after taking down North 16-13 on Inferno.

The matchup began with North picking up the opening pistol thanks to a poised triple-kill from Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye on the defence. mousesports instantly hit back to level the score with a force buy, adding two more rounds for a 3-1 lead. Determined to prevent mousesports from gaining any substantial advantage, North swiftly eliminated Finn "karrigan" Andersen and his squad with an aggressive push through mid to once more level the score, this time at 3-3.

mousesports narrowly defeat North on Inferno

mousesports’ offensive capability shined going forward, with Robin "ropz" Kool leading the charge for the European mixture as they attained a 6-3 advantage. North could only respond with one round before mousesports extended the scoreline further. However, a phenomenal 5v5 retake from the Danes on the B bombsite using efficient utility salvaged a tolerable scoreline as Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså and co. headed into halftime chasing a 10-5 deficit.

The two sides opened the second half with a round apiece before a pistol force buy from mousesports increased their lead further at 14-6. With North staring defeat in the face, the Danes’ resilience surfaced as they strung together four consecutive rounds. With North hot on their heels, mousesports were able to eventually grind out the map 16-13 thanks to an incredible ace from Chris "chrisJ" de Jong.

I may be completely wrong about typing this but how did kjaerbye top fragged all of a sudden after 14-8 scoreline. Finding players in the corners and doing shady plays, I'm not sure what I saw in the match but it he was finding almost everyone.

Mouz could be such a solid team if the players show up consistently. Chris is such a strong player but he can't put up performances like this every game, same for Frozen and Ropz. Even Karrigan has games where he can shine. If the individual Mouz players get more consistent, they could be such a strong team.
