Lazarus drop male CS:GO team
Lazarus have released their male CS:GO team, the organisation has announced.
The Canadian organisation had picked up the North American roster from Swole Patrol in April, giving the team some much-needed stability as they prepared to compete in the ESL Pro League.
The initial Lazarus lineup featured the quartet of Braxton "swag" Pierce, Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro, Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and Gage "Infinite" Green, with their fifth player, Michael "dapr" Gulino, being replaced early on by former Complexity member Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker.

Since the acquisition, Lazarus' biggest event was ESL Pro League Season 9, which saw the team finish bottom of their group in a winless fashion. Despite this, the team retained their Pro League slot for the new season after surviving relegation against the likes of Envy, INTZ and Singularity.
In a brief statement on Twitter, Lazarus explained that the organisation is "adjusting our primary direction to focus on other core strengths" and wished the players "all the best" in the future.
The next event for the team will be the ECS Season 8 North American Pinnacle Cup, which will kick off on September 10. The squad qualified for the online event using coach Danny "fRoD" Montaner as a stand-in due to swag's ineligibility.
Lazarus had the following squad:
