Vitality target shox, kioShiMa - Report
The French giants are currently in the market for a new player after benching NBK- in the aftermath of the StarLadder Major, reportedly due to friction within the squad, who failed to meet expectations in Berlin.
shox is believed to be assessing his options after reports in France suggested that he and Lucas "Lucky" Chastang are on their way out of G2, who have slowed down since the runner-up finish at the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals. The French team, who crashed out the StarLadder Major in the New Legends Stage, have reportedly engaged in negotiations with CR4ZY over highly-rated duo Nemanja "nexa" Isaković and Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač.
kioShiMa has been without a team since April 1, when he was released by Cloud9 after spending almost five months under the North American organisation. In an interview with HLTV.org conducted the following month - at a time when all was going well with Vitality and G2 -, the two-time Major champion stated that would like to end his career in a French team.
A move for shox would require Vitality to splash the cash, but a transfer could be aided by the good relationship between the two organisations. Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and NBK- himself were acquired from G2 when Vitality entered CS:GO, in October 2018.
Vitality are in a race against time to finalise their roster ahead of BLAST Pro Series Moscow, kicking off Friday. It is currently unclear whether the French organisation will be able to secure a visa for the new player, leaving their attendance at the tournament in jeopardy.
