AVANGAR rule out roster changes after Major success
AVANGAR have guaranteed that their roster will remain intact after their dream run at the StarLadder Major.
The Kazakhstani side surpassed anyone's wildest expectations in Berlin as they reached the grand final of the Major – beating the likes of Liquid, Vitality and Renegades along the way –, before being clobbered by Astralis in a one-sided affair.
With Natus Vincere on the lookout for a new player as Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko is heading towards retirement, it has been speculated that AVANGAR could become a feeder team for the Russian side, with Dzhami "Jame" Ali, Alexey "qikert" Golubev and Timur "buster" Tulepov having all raised eyebrows in Berlin.
But in a Twitter post, AVANGAR issued a hands-off warning, ensuring that they will not entertain any offers for their prized players.
"AVANGAR will keep its roster and with this goal we will move on to victory," the organisation wrote on Twitter.
In an interview prior to the grand final, qikert revealed that he was "happy" that he did not join Natus Vincere at the start of the year when the team was "having struggles with Edward". Na`Vi would go on to recruit Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov, who is expected to take over as in-game leader following Zeus' retirement.
