V4 Future Sports Festival groups, schedule, talent announced

The groups for the $335,000 V4 Future Sports Festival tournament have been drawn and announced alongside the schedule and talent lineup for the event.

Following the finalization of the team list, the tournament organizer has drawn the competitors into two groups and released additional information about the eight-team event.

FalleN's MIBR is in the same group as NiP

The groups were determined by first placing the four invited teams based on their HLTV ranking, and then having the four regional qualifier teams drawn randomly. The result are the following two groups:

All of the matches at the tournament in Budapest, Hungary will be BO3, with the action kicking off with a group stage from where two teams are eliminated and six advance to the playoffs. Similarly to the format at ESL events, the winners of the groups advance directly to the semis, while second and third-placed teams will face off in the quarter-finals.

The whole event will take place across five days, with Friday being the "rest day". Only the playoff days will be open to public at the Hungexpo. You can find the full schedule below:
