GG.BET Beijing Invitational team list revealed

GG.BET and Maincast have revealed the complete team list for their upcoming invitational tournament, which will act as a qualifier for IEM Beijing.

The online tournament will kick off on September 16 and follow the same structure of previous GG.BET Invitationals, with a spot at the ESL event going to the winner and $5,000 to the runner-up as a consolation prize.

Joining the previously-invited duo of G2 and Heroic are Polish side One More Time, who came through the open qualifiers, and five renowned European teams, most notably mousesports, who sit in eighth place in the rankings after almost making the playoffs at the recent StarLadder Major.

mousesports will fight for a spot at IEM Beijing

The GG.BET Beijing Invitational will begin with a double-elimination group stage, featuring best-of-three series after the first round of matches. The top two sides from both groups will secure spots in the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs.

The winner of the tournament will secure entry into IEM Beijing, which will take place from November 7-10 and have $250,000 at stake. Liquid and Astralis are the first two teams confirmed for the event, with three more invites left to announce and two Asian teams due to be determined by local qualifiers.

Below you can find the complete team list for the GG.BET Beijing Invitational:

U know that this is the invitationalright?
2019-09-12 17:19
he probably said that because of the quality of the teams attending (._.')

i know but it sounded like he thought it was a t2 event
2019-09-12 17:52
Its actually a T2 event tho, in every aspect. Only 2 top 10 teams + online + its a qualifier with low pricepool. They added the word invitational to make it look a bit fancy I guess (._.')
2019-09-12 18:00
U mean it's not t2 but t3?

Mouz no direct invites ??? HLTV Ranking 8 not enough for DH Malmö IEM Bejing ?
2019-09-12 17:17
pretty sure dh malmö invites happened quite long time ago. Also IEM Bejing only has 8 teams, there is 5 invites, meaning top 8 rank possibly is not good enough xd...
2019-09-12 17:21
Remember that mouz got invite for ESL One Cologne over Vitality...
2019-09-12 18:34
why mouz didnt get direct invite
2019-09-12 17:19
there is only 5 invites, not so ez to get one if best teams decide to attend.
