Official: Luminosity release roster
Luminosity have confirmed that they are parting ways with their CS:GO lineup, passing on the EPL and ECS spots to the players.
The news comes after a recent report from Mais Esports, and confirms the rumors that the Canadian organization is looking to part ways with their Brazilian roster.

Luminosity has most recently been seen playing with Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, on loan from W7M, and João "felps" Vasconcellos, a loanee from MIBR. While those two players are still tied to their organizations, the remaining three active players, as well as the benched Henrique "HEN1" Teles and the team's coach Rafael "zakk" Fernandes, are released from their contracts.
zakk said the following in his TwitLonger:
"Even though 3 of us are free agent right now, it feels like a great opportunity. We finally have the lineup that we want and the teamplay has been perfect.
"We are proud to announce that we are taking ESL Pro League spots for us. Skullz and felps were on loan and are benched on their respective teams, which means we are ready and motivated to kick some ass!
"We are open for negotiation!" - zakk
In addition to that, Luminosity also ceded their ESL Pro League and ECS slots, which now belong to the players and should help them find a new home. At the same time, that hints at a strong possibility of Luminosity not planning to return to CS:GO with a new lineup, albeit that was not confirmed in the announcement.
The ex-Luminosity team now has the following roster:
Lucas "steel" Lopes
Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato
Ricardo "boltz" Prass
João "felps" Vasconcellos (loan from MIBR)
Felipe "skullz" Medeiros (loan from W7M)
Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (coach)
Henrique "HEN1" Teles (free agent)
