forZe crush ENCE; NiP overcome AVANGAR in Moscow
forZe had a great start on the CT side of Inferno, grabbing a 2-0 lead off the back of the pistol win before ENCE managed their first by breaking into the A bombsite. Multikills from Andrey "Jerry" Mekhryakov and Dmitriy "facecrack" Alekseyev won forZe the following round and got them the economic edge in the game, which the Russian side leveraged to an 8-1 lead.
After that point, Aleksi "allu" Jalli and co. mustered three rounds in quick succession, but forZe then figured out a solution for their fast hits, and with great contributions from Almaz "almazer" Asadullin, ended the half strongly, 11-4.
The momentum was brought into the second half by forZe as they won the pistol despite losing the first two picks in the round. A clean anti-eco followed, as well as a confident gun round in which facecrack single-handedly resolved the 3v3 afterplant in his side's favor. That was the end of the road for ENCE, who were unable to come back from the massive deficit, seeing forZe take a 16-4 victory in their opening game.

Despite Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson's quad kill on the pistol, AVANGAR managed to win the first round of the game and take a 5-0 lead on the CT side of Overpass. Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora's 1v1 clutch ended the drought for NIP, and the Swedish side got the score back to 6-3 before Dzhami "Jame" Ali showed up once again, this time with four AWP frags in a round. AVANGAR didn't snowball off of that to a big lead, though, thanks to Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund's 1v2 spraydown on B (8-5).
The half finished with NIP lagging behind by just one round, the Swedes picked up the pistol and the follow up on the defensive side to get the lead for the first time in the game. It was a back-and-forth affair from that point onwards, with AVANGAR dropping an anti-eco and a 2v2 which allowed NIP to get a 13-12 advantage.
