Jame scoops BLAST Pro Series Moscow MVP award
Dzhami "Jame" Ali is the recipient of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of BLAST Pro Series Moscow by HLTV.org and betway.
The Russian player won the race for the medal after leading AVANGAR to the title with an impressive 1.43 rating across the series against forZe, topping the scoreboard on all three maps. He played a crucial role on Overpass, where he helped his team over the line with a 1.51 rating in a very close game.
Jame's 1.37 tournament rating was the highest overall and the second-best of his career, only surpassed by his 1.44 rating from DreamHack Open Summer 2019, where AVANGAR finished 5th-6th.
Besides leading BLAST Pro Series Moscow's rating charts, Jame was ranked first in six other stats categories, including KDD (+75), deaths per round (0.52), AWP frags (128) and AWP kills per round (0.58). He was also the second-best clutcher of the tournament with five 1vsX situations won and had the third-highest opening duel success at 71.4%.
This is the first MVP medal of Jame's career and it comes nine months into what has been a dream year for the AVANGAR talent. He has finished every tournament he has played this year with above-average ratings and is sitting on a jaw-dropping 1.22 LAN rating.
