SKADE sign ex-Bpro roster

Norwegian organisation SKADE have secured the signatures of four of the five former Bpro players, with Valentin "viltrex" Tsvetanov having stepped down to commit to his studies.

Joining the four former Bpro players is Alex "Rainwaker" Petrov, who had been standing in for the side in recent matches following the departure of viltrex, with his position being made permanent soon after a number of positive performances with the team.

The Bulgarian squad were sitting at 45th in the rankings prior to switching organisations, with the team now aiming to build on that and achieve a top-30 placing "by the end of the year", with their eyes also set on entering ESEA MDL.

“We left Bpro because the conditions were pretty low for our level and we decided to seek out new opportunities",- Ivan "Rock1nG" Stratiev told HLTV.org.

"SKADE reached out to us and they can provide the funding and structure we need; also we have matching goals. We added Rainwaker just one day before we signed as viltrex had to step down because of his studies.

"Our expectations are pretty achievable as we are aiming for a top-30 placing by the end of the year and we want to get into MDL, while playing all the online and offline events we can get into".

The ex-Bpro players most recently recorded a first-place finish in the A1 Gaming League Grand Finals, a Bulgarian LAN featuring the best teams in the country. The team currently hold a 2-1 record in LOOT.BET Season 4 after picking up wins over Nordavind and adwokacik.

The Bulgarians have two more online tournaments coming up: SECTOR: MOSTBET, which will have $50,000 on the line, and the LBET Invitational, featuring a $15,000 prize pool. Both competitions are set to start on Wednesday.

The new SKADE roster is:

Bulgaria Ivan "Rock1nG" Stratiev
Bulgaria Denislav "dennyslaw" Dimitrov
Bulgaria Krasen "Zix" Minchev
Bulgaria Kostadin "rafftu" Turbinov
Bulgaria Alex "Rainwaker" Petrov

Its a very dangerous development to see all those betting companies hosting their own tourneys... this is getting out of hand in CSGO...
