ESL Pro League Season 10 groups revealed
ESL has revealed the groups for the three divisions (Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific) of the upcoming season of the ESL Pro League.
All three regions will feature 16 teams, who have been split into four round-robin groups, with all matches being played in a best-of-three format. In Europe and in the Americas, where the action will take place in a LAN setting, the group winners will automatically progress to the season finals, while the runners-up and third-placed sides will move on to a second group stage.
In the second group stage, these eight teams will be split into two groups. In Europe, the top two sides from both groups will advance to the LAN finals, while in the Americas, only the group winners will earn spots at the main event.

In Asia-Pacific, where the matches will be played online, the qualifying system will be slightly different: the top two teams from each group will advance to a second group stage, which will determine the two teams (one from Asia and one from Oceania) who will compete at the season finals.
ESL has not yet announced what will happen with the Americas spots that belonged to Ghost and ex-Luminosity, two teams who have disbanded since the end of Season 9. Both sides have been drawn in Group C, which also features Liquid and Renegades.
The ESL Pro League will return to Odense for a third event as the Danish city will host the season finals from December 3-8, with the playoffs being held at the Jyske Bank Arena. The winning side will walk away with the grand prize of $250,000 plus a spot at next year's IEM Katowice event.
