hazed open to coaching offers
James "hazed" Cobb has announced that he is willing to step into a coaching role on a team following the conclusion of the current ESEA MDL season.
hazed last played professionally for OpTic in 2017, initially joining the team as coach before temporarily playing with the roster following the departure of fellow stand-in Jason "jasonR" Ruchelski. Prior to that, hazed played under the CLG banner for almost two years, participating in five Majors with the roster with their most notable placement seeing them finish in the top eight at MLG Columbus 2016.
Since his stint on OpTic, a majority of hazed's time has been spent under the Mythic banner, playing with the roster in the past six seasons of ESEA MDL. While the team only achieved a playoffs berth on one occasion, their focus has remained directed towards streaming matches and practices, leaving the team with middle-of-the-pack results.
After initially tweeting that he was "going to stop being so passive in [his] ambitions" in both his personal and business life, hazed said in a follow-up tweet that he was open to coaching offers following the end of the current ESEA MDL season.
When contacted by HLTV.org, hazed informed us that he "would be open to building a team from scratch with up and coming talent or a pre-built team", further clarifying that he was open to both Pro and MDL offers, although the latter would be dependent on organizational funding to acquire players that he was interested in. hazed did not shut the door on his playing career entirely however, but alluded to having a better attitude and mindset when he was not playing the game himself.
