GamerLegion finalise roster with PlesseN

GamerLegion have announced that they have completed their squad with the addition of Niclas "⁠PlesseN⁠" Plessen from Japaleno.

The 21-year-old will fill the last roster spot on the Swedish team, who were down to just four players after bringing in only Alfred "⁠RuStY⁠" Karlsson since the benchings of Adil "⁠ScreaM⁠" Benrlitom and Kevin "⁠HS⁠" Tarn.

On GamerLegion, PlesseN will reunite with Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman after the pair briefly played together on fnatic in 2016 during his time standing in for Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer while the current FaZe player recovered from a wrist injury.

PlesseN is the final piece of the puzzle for GamerLegion

PlesseN went on to play for fnatic's academy team. with whom he attended the Europe Minor leading to PGL Major Krakow, before joining Red Reserve and Chaos. After becoming a free agent last month as Chaos released their roster, he looked set to continue with the team under Japaleno, but then he was called up to play for GamerLegion as a stand-in in online competitions, averaging a 1.05 rating.

GamerLegion, who will fight for survival in WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 against Copenhagen Flames at 15:00 , now have:

ScreaM didn't get benched for being bad nor for his personality but for the team changing direction of their project to help their young players create a situation where they feel comfortable enough to grow. Whenever I've talked to ANYONE in GamerLegion they've all had great things to say to Scream and if this Swedish Project doesn't work we can expect Scream to get back to the roster.

I got sources from the org but you can also see the different mention among the announcement when he and HS was benched that the announcement was different depending on player. The former management also said that their bigges mistake was benching Ex6TenZ, the one who created this "team"/"roster" with ScreaM.

Not Ex6tenZ though. He has so much value as a captain & IGL. But he would be better in a french speaking team. His english is far from good. He has some personal issues though, so I don't know if we will see him any time soon.

God I cant listen/read these words anymore. How do you still say after you have seen his tier 1 project fail. Start a tier2 project and fail again. Been completely irrelevant for such a long time and has no offers from teams and u still think he is a good option.

His time with G2 failed because they had bodyy & SmithZz heavily underperforming. They were really shit back then. How do you want to do something with that ? And in GL he was doing good, ScreaM pushed to kick him to get dennis when he got benched. So, hampus was the one who didnt want to kick Ex6tenZ saying he was a really good captain & teammate and that they have learned so much from him. You guys are underestimating him a LOT. Even shox & NBK (and recently apEX & XTQZZZ) said that he was the best captain they had.

Well ex6tenz is a great IGL and ScreaM is still a valuable player for a team. Maybe not the star he was some years ago but you can definitely build a great team around ex6tenz and ScreaM - maybe even a French one, what might be the best solution for both players.

I have a few sources saying he will join an NA roster and I think it was DeKay that said it most likely will be Misfits. Can't remember if it is a full Swedish roster or not. Trying to find where DeKay said this but if it isn't in an article, but on a stream, I won't find it.

Oh ok, interesting! Friberg and Xizt tweeted something about signing a paper pretty much the same day (a couple of weeks ago), so might be xizt and friberg in the same team. Also, GR has been playing a lot of fpl with friberg and sometimes the three of them has been playing together as well. That signing was to Godsent because Promax and Godsent tweeted the same thing at the same time. Then probax lost his Internet or computer or something (didn't really understand what he was talking about) and that opened up for other orgs and more money.
