mousesports to ESL Pro League Finals; OpTic out of the race

mousesports have earned a spot at the ESL Pro League Finals after beating FaZe 2-0 for the first place in Group A, while OpTic are now out of the race, placing last in the group following an 0-2 loss to BIG.

In a battle for a 3-0 record and a direct ticked to the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals, the two European mixtures went head-to-head for the first time since FaZe's overhaul in September.

On mousesports' pick, Train, it was Nikola "NiKo" Kovač's team who got off the line first with a pistol round win, but the scoreline was soon even at 3-3 when their adversaries dominated the opening couple of gunrounds. FaZe didn't take long to recover, executing several successful retakes to go on a six-round streak, with Finn "karrigan" Andersen & co. closing the half with three more.

An incredible performance from woxic ensured mouz a spot at the finals

When the sides switched, mousesports looked to put together a dominant defense, giving up just two out of the first 11 rounds despite losing to FaZe's second-round forcebuy, but Janko "YNk" Paunović's side held on to take the opening map to overtime. That effort was all for naught, in the end, as mousesports clinched the series lead anyway in the first set.

Moving on to Overpass, Özgür "woxic" Eker continued with fantastic form as his team got off to a flying start on the CT side with a 10-2 lead. Although FaZe attempted to come back once more after switching sides, mousesports closed the series when it got dangerous, stringing together five in a row for a 16-12, 2-0 victory.

After both teams suffered losses to FaZe and mousesports during the opening two days in London, OpTic and BIG squared off in the match for the third place in the group, which equals advancement to the second stage of the league.

Early on on Overpass, the choice of the Danes, the two sides went back and forth as neither was able to establish control in the first six rounds but OpTic managed to do so from there on, letting BIG take just one out of the last nine. Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz's team retaliated with a dominant offense of their own, with the Danes struggling to put consecutive rounds on the board and suffering a 13-16 defeat on the first map of the series.

BIG move on to the second stage

Mirage followed with OpTic once again finding their feet midway through the first half to get away with a 9-6 lead as Counter-Terrorists. The winner was not found by the end of regulation despite OpTic having five match points to close out the second map, as BIG came back with nine in a row to secure the series in overtime at 19-15, 2-0, eliminating the Danish team from the race for a spot at the finals.

+1. Dude has to step up and keep his consistency and w0xic is a different story. Mouz has 3 "star players" and each of them can deliver so if w0xic doesn't than either frozen or rops do. This time it was w0xic, we'll see if he will shine in the next game aswell.
2019-10-11 11:08
you are right, but while he is sucking, all team suck. Because big clan tactics often suck. Tabsen is not a perfect igl, even if he is a good player. So all team sucking together. Mistakes dont belong only xantares
