DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019 viewer's guide

HLTV.org presents a comprehensive viewer's guide for DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019, taking place over the coming weekend.

DreamHack Open Rotterdam 2019 will take place on October 18-20, featuring eight contestants duking it out for $100,000 in prize money. The teams will be split into two groups, fighting it out in a GSL setting with best-of-one initial matches followed by best-of-three elimination and decider series.

The top two squads from each group will advance to the playoffs, which will feature a single-elimination, best-of-three format, exclusively. The champions will be crowned upon the conclusion of the grand final on Sunday, kicking off at 17:00 CEST.

AVANGAR will seek to add a trophy to their locker over the weekend

Ahead of the tournament, the former Dreameaters squad has signed for a new organization, Hard Legion, while Besiktas, who qualified for the event by winning the all-women event DreamHack Showdown, parted ways with Meyssa "Missa" Bellouati and revealed they will be using Steven "blackie" Groeneveld from Asterion as a stand-in.

Not sure how many seats, but it's not that big. It's being held at a big stadium but not in the main venue, so it's basically just a medium sized room rotterdamgamesweek.com/visitor-info/floo..

Asterion used standins because blackie and Pat couldnt play the Benelux Qualifier that DH moved three times. So he is on Asterion's regular roster, but will not play this event for them. It's stupid
