Ex-DreamEaters sign with Hard Legion
Following a period of negotiations, the former DreamEaters roster has officially signed with Hard Legion, a new organisation founded by popular Russian YouTube and Twitch.tv personality, Aleksei “HARDPLAY” Baranov.
The team parted ways with their former organisation for a list of reasons, including failure to meet contractual obligations and negative interactions, but the catalyst for their subsequent decision was the forced removal of coach Aleksandr "zoneR" Bogatiryev, which served as the last straw for the team.
Captain of the roster, Svyatoslav "svyat" Dovbakh, shared some details regarding the signing and why the squad chose a fresh start over established organisations:
"We had a lot of interesting proposals, some from very loud and well-known tags, however after talking to Aleksei “HARDPLAY” Baranov and the organisation’s management, we were inspired by the ideas that they are looking to realise and were impressed by the scale of the future project.
I think that with our new organisation we will be able to uncover our full potential and achieve great results, for together, we are legion!"
The roster will represent their new organisation in Rotterdam over the weekend, looking to impress in group A of the $100,000 event where they are set to face Heroic in their opening match.
Hard Legion now stand as:
