With the conclusion of StarSeries i-League Season 8, we take a look at the best performing players and announce the winners of the HLTV x SkinBaron league.

Evil Geniuses lifting the trophy in Belek and the team's most prominent players — Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, and Ethan "Ethan" Arnold — finishing among the five best performers in the Fantasy league come as no surprise. However, FURIA duo Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato and Henrique "HEN1" Teles impressed as they pushed their squad to a third-place finish, while more was expected from the likes of Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev and Denis "electronic" Sharipov, who ended with just 105 and 70 points, respectively.

Priced $169,000 and securing 95 points, es3tag was a great pick

The winner of the HLTV x SkinBaron league, gay_all_the_way, relied on the Evil Geniuses trio, adding two budget picks, both of which performed admirably: Patrick "es3tag" Hansen and Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg. The second-placed user, Aries538, had the same team, but fell behind due to inferior role selection.

The ideal lineup fared much better than the ones our users selected, and featured only the cheapest of the three mentioned Evil Geniuses members and the eventual MVP, Ethan. The lineup amassed 1151 points, including role bonuses.

Looking at the best players, regardless of the price, Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was once again a standout, as well as youngster Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin. Despite an early exit from mousesports, Özgür "woxic" Eker and Robin "ropz" Kool also made the top 10 performers list thanks to group stage padding.
