DreamHack Open Atlanta viewer's guide

With DreamHack Open Atlanta kicking off on Friday, HLTV.org presents a comprehensive viewer's guide for the North American event.

Hosted at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta from November 15-17, DreamHack Open Atlanta will feature eight contestants, who will face off for the lion's share of the $100,000 prize pool. Teams will aim to advance through a GSL group stage featuring a best-of-three format in the lower bracket, with top two from both groups ensuring participation in the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs.

EspiranTo and company will look to recreate their result from Rotterdam

Among the participants are the newly-signed Chaos roster, who will make their LAN debut in Atlanta, as well as the victors of DreamHack Open Rotterdam, CR4ZY. Initially, Cloud9 were set to represent the home crowd, but due to reported internal issues opted to skip the tournament, subsequently replaced by Joshua "steel" Nissan's team.

The participants' list for the event looks as follows:

Hosting his first-ever CS:GO tournament is Richard Campbell, who has worked at a number of Dota 2 events throughout his career, including this year's The International. He will be joined by analysts Christine "potter" Chi and Jacob "Pimp" Winneche, who will be bringing insight in pre and post-match segments, while four casters will bring live coverage of matches.

The full talent list is as follows:

United States Richard Campbell - Desk host

United States Christine "potter" Chi - Analyst
Denmark Jacob "Pimp" Winneche - Analyst

United Kingdom Tom "Tombizz" Bissmire - Caster
United States John "BLU" Mullen - Caster

wdym bro this is some team just making the rounds, old VP last hope was well over a year ago. There's no reason to expect this roster is under any more or less pressure than any other random low level team.

That's some solid tier 4 talent lineup, I mean Tombizz is the clear standout there... smh
