ATK qualify for ESL Pro League Finals
Envy claimed their first win of the second group stage with a narrow 2-1 victory over DETONA. Meanwhile ATK breezed past Singularity 2-0 to secure a spot at the ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals in December.
The second set of matches kicked off with an intense battle between DETONA and Envy, which began on the North American side's map pick of Train. The first round went the way of DETONA, who were easily able to retake the B bombsite thanks to a triple kill from André "tiburci0" Rossetto. From there, the Brazilian team seemed set to run away with the half as they climbed to a comfortable 8-2 lead; however, several multi-kill rounds from Jacob "FugLy" Medina quickly brought Envy back into the game and started what would turn into an eight-round win streak.
The tables yet again turned as DETONA started a small comeback of their own after finding themselves down 8-10. With both sides now firing on all cylinders, and regulation time coming to a close, overtime was inevitable. It was clear that neither side had any plans of slowing down and it wasn't until the fourth batch of overtime rounds that Envy finally managed to pull ahead and win Train 28-25.

Dust2 saw DETONA take yet another convincing 8-2 lead, but this time around the Brazilian team proved to be much more prepared for what Envy had in store as they gave up just three more rounds before closing out the half 10-5. Despite opening up their defensive side with a victory, tiburci0 and his troops struggled to close out their map pick, just barely muscling their way past the offense of Envy to win Dust2 16-12.
Despite failing to make a comeback on Dust2, Envy came into Inferno, the third and final map of the series, with fire in their veins as they marched to a 3-0 lead after winning the pistol round. The North American team proceeded to concede just four rounds to the defense of DETONA during the first half, resulting in an 11-4 scoreline. With the sides now switched, Envy began to crumble as their eight round lead slowly faded away, ultimately resulting in a 15-15 score. The battle continued into two sets of overtime, which saw Envy finally close out the map 22:20 and secure their first win of the second group stage of ESL Pro League Americas.

The second matchup between ATK and Singularity started on Overpass, which saw Ian "motm" Hardy's side take off with a 4-0 start after winning the pistol round. From there, Singularity managed to string four rounds of their own together to tie up the game 4-4. Despite giving up the early lead, ATK remained unphased by their opponents moves as they regained control of the map and kept Singularity shut down for the remainder of the half. The momentum of Johnny "JT" Theodosiou and company continued into their offensive side as they cruised to the finish line, closing out their opponent's map pick 16-7.

ATK continued to run rampant as Nuke got underway, running up a deadly 7-2 lead on the offense. Singularity finally managed to catch a break towards the end of the half by securing four more rounds of their own, however, it wasn't enough to stop ATK from going into the second half with a 9-6 lead. With the players of ATK firing on all cylinders, Singularity found themselves unable to hold either bombsite and their odds of tying up the series 1-1 began diminishing rapidly. ATK gave up just one round on their CT side, resulting in a swift 16-7 victory on Nuke for the primarily American team.
