CS:GO Asia Championships viewer's guide*
CS:GO Asia Championships kicks off on Wednesday, so we have prepared a viewer's guide for you with everything you need to watch the tournament.
Update: The organizers have confirmed to HLTV.org that the tournament will run on the version prior to Monday's gameplay update, which made significant adjustments to Vertigo and adjusted prices of the SG553, Galil, and Famas.
The Chinese event will run from November 20-24 at the Jing'an Sports Center in Shanghai, featuring eight teams including two top-ten sides in Evil Geniuses (#2) and AVANGAR (#9), four more teams from the top-15 in mousesports, G2, ENCE, and MIBR, and two Chinese challengers, TYLOO and ViCi.
A best-of-three GSL group stage with four teams per group will kick off the competition, with the winning side securing a berth in the semi-finals, while second and third-placed teams will advance to the quarter-finals, leaving only the last-placed teams eliminated.
The groups have been distributed as follows:
The first day of the event will see the opening round played before the groups come to an end on Thursday, followed by a day off on Friday, the quarter-finals on Saturday, and the semi-finals and the grand final on Sunday.
