GODSENT replace 100 Thieves at DreamHack Open Winter
DreamHack has invited GODSENT to fill the spot left after 100 Thieves' withdrawal from DreamHack Open Winter.
Martin "STYKO" Styk and company step in after Thursday's unexplained withdrawal of the Australian side, who had been a big favorite at the $100,000 tournament as the fifth-best team in the world.
GODSENT will travel to Sweden fresh off a triumph at WePlay! Forge of Masters Season 2 Finals, where the former SMASH squad went undefeated to lift their first trophy under the new banner, facing some of the same teams who will be in attendance at the DreamHack Open stop, namely forZe and Tricked.
On the back of that run, Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend's team made their first entry into the top-30, jumping to No.22 — within six spots from four other teams taking part in the Swedish event.
