ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals group draw, initial matchups revealed
The groups have been drawn and initial matches for ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals have been revealed, with some surprises on the cards in Odense.
Odense, Denmark will host an ESL Pro League Finals event for the third time, with the Season 10 Finals taking place on December 3-8. A total of $750,000 will be up for grabs at the event, where sixteen teams will compete using ESL's standard format.
To draw the teams into two eight-team groups, ESL used a mixture of regular-season standings and ESL rankings. The two teams that have a surprisingly low seeding due to their regular seasons are 100 Thieves and fnatic, with the latter squad drawing Evil Geniuses as their first-round opponent.

ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals will feature ESL's standard format, which kicks-off with BO1 initial matches, followed by BO3s in the upper and lower bracket of the group stage. Six teams advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination BO3 bracket, with the grand final being BO5.
