ryk to miss ESL Pro League Finals
In a post on social media network Weibo, TYLOO explained that ryk will only be able to help the team remotely during the tournament and revealed that the players learned of the situation when they were already inside the plane headed for Denmark.
The news comes as a bitter blow for the Chinese team, who head into the Pro League Finals on the back of an impressive semi-final run at the CS:GO Asia Championships, where they beat G2 and MIBR in the group stage before losing to mousesports in keenly-contested series that saw Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand's troops waste seven match points on Inferno.
ryk, who officially joined TYLOO as a coach ahead of IEM Beijing, will now apply for a Schengen visa again as he hopes to accompany the team at the Champions Cup Finals, which will be held from December 19-22 in Malta.
TYLOO have been placed in Group A of the ESL Pro League Finals, kicking off Tuesday, with their first match pitting them against Natus Vincere. In the event of a victory over the CIS giants, they will take on the winner of the match between FaZe and MIBR.
