pro100 beat HellRaisers to win DreamHack Delhi Invitational

pro100 secured the DreamHack Delhi Invitational trophy following a 2-0 victory over HellRaisers in the grand final.

Heading into the six-team event as the two highest-ranked sides, HellRaisers breezed through their group unscathed to take down Goliath in the semi-final, while pro100 progressed through Group A and overran Yalla comfortably on the other side of the bracket to set up the CIS clash in the grand final.

The best-of-three matchup kicked off on Mirage, the pick of HellRaisers, where Kirill "ANGE1" Karasiow’s side looked well on their way to closing out the opener commandingly after storming to a 9-2 lead on the Terrorist side. The map was on course for a swift conclusion before a resurgence from pro100, led by an emphatic Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis performance, saw a comeback materialise to force overtime, in which the Russian squad flawlessly secured four straight rounds to win 19-15.

WorldEdit's pro100 emerge victorious in New Delhi

With the first map under their belts from an impressive comeback, pro100 entered their own map pick of Train riding the momentum, with Georgi "WorldEdit" Yaskin’s AWP ripping apart HellRaisers’ defence to help his side surge to a 12-3 halftime lead. With defeat on the horizon, HellRaisers buckled down to secure a series of rounds to narrow the score difference, but multiple impactful kills from Jan "wayLander" Rahkonen ensured pro100 edged over the line to take the second map and emerge champions of the DreamHack Delhi Invitational.

Well... this tournament was just to check the scope of cs in india imo. Mobile gaming tournament is trending quite a lot here. The stream was actually great compared to what i remember last time i watched an indian tournament. Low fps , audio issues and hd looking like 360p. This can be easily streamed on twitch but like i said it was streamed there for marketing purpose and for seeing the scope of cs tournament here

The price for going multigaming again with literally 1 sponsor, and this sponsor is a fucking 1xbet. CEO wanted DOTA roster, so now org has 2 shit rosters instead of 1 OK-ish. Dota roster was constantly changing players because... reasons, I guess, and now can't even qualify for minor. I guess the goal of CEO to go to International + sticker money, but most likely none of that going to happen. Even if they wanted to go back to CIS you should spend money on players or wait for their contracts to end and not try to pick up tier-3 rejects and make something out of them. Of course Ange1 made good players out of nothing in the past(Styko, Zero, Issa, even DeadFox, brought woxic to EU) but all those guys had no experience whatsoever, so you could make whatever you wanted with them, not the case with ex pro100 and Vega players.
