Rejin steps in for mousesports mid-way through cs_summit 5 grand final

mousesports will be left without their in-game leader for the remainder of the cs_summit 5 grand final as Finn "karrigan" Andersen looks to resolve visa issues ahead of EPICENTER 2019.

The announcement comes as an additional blow to the European roster, who have been playing the event with Niels-Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen in lieu of Özgür "woxic" Eker due to visa issues for the Turkish player.

Rejin will help mousesports close out cs_summit 5 in karrigan's absence

mousesports' coach, Allan "Rejin" Petersen, will take karrigan's place for the final two maps of the series, with the Danish in-game leader heading to the airport following the conclusion of a 19-17 overtime affair on Mirage that went in mousesports' favour.

For the remainder of cs_summit 5, mousesports will play with the following roster:

Netherlands Chris "chrisJ" de Jong
Estonia Robin "ropz" Kool
Slovakia David "frozen" Čerňanský
Denmark Niels-Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen (stand-in)
Denmark Allan "Rejin" Petersen (stand-in)

Kinda weird how they don’t let the Dane in compared to a lot of the other nationalities. You’d think they’d be the first to get their visas.
2019-12-16 03:38
"due to some visa issues" ... sounds like he filled out the visa form incorrectly or something like that.

tbh nato is underrated imo, i mean he's an awper and on heroic they decided not to give him the awp
2019-12-16 03:02
nato was totally wasted on heroic, es3tag sucks at awp and they still let him take it over nato, 0iq

Visas?!?!?! Again???? How many freaking times do we have to see this issue again and again? No wonder some old farts still don't consider Esports an actual sport. This shit is ridiculous. Imagine Messi not being able to play a game because of Visa issues. WTF?
2019-12-16 09:26
If it would be considered a real Sport, then there wouldnt be Visa issues.. the reason why there are so many issues is that they cant get sport visas...
2019-12-16 09:50
I don't know if the orgs are to blame too. I mean, these guys probably knows most year long where they are going etc, so how can this thing not be resolved in advance? It's just unprofessional and pathetic IMO. People pay money to go watch these guys and someone puts their hands up and says "Oh sorry we couldn't get a visa for [xxxx]". It's BS.
2019-12-16 10:03
Mouz didnt know where they are going to play months before. Woxic Said that the summit invite came when they were in Asia leaving him with one day to get a Visa (and know you cant get it in one day because of bureaucracy) and mouz stepping in for fnatic was also Not planned.

Coaches aren't assigned to teams on hltv, all of them have "no team" in the label. Which is a shame, but they'd have to edit the entire system. At least Liquipedia's got it covered better.
