Groups, schedule for Champions Cup Finals revealed

Eden Esports has revealed the groups and schedule for the upcoming Champions Cup Finals.

The eight competing sides have been split into two double-elimination groups, featuring a best-of-three format after the initial round of matches.

Group A is headlined by two top 15 teams in FURIA and ENCE. Henrique "HEN1" Teles will return to action for FURIA after recently missing cs_summit 5, with the Brazilians set to face TYLOO, who could be playing their last event with Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand as reports continue to link the Indonesian star with a move to Gen.G. As for ENCE, the Finnish team will take on Movistar Riders, who finished top-six at DreamHack Open Sevilla last weekend.

ENCE placed in a tricky group that includes FURIA

G2 will be confident of their chances of success after being placed in a group with only one other top 30 team in Spirit. In their opening match in Malta, the cs_summit 5 runners-up will play BIG, who were sent packing in Sevilla in the group stage following three heart-breaking overtime losses.

The Champions Cup Finals will take place from December 19-22 at InterContinental Malta, in Saint Julian's, with $300,000 at stake. Earlier on Monday, Eden Esports announced the on-air team for the English broadcast, featuring the likes of Tres "stunna" Saranthus, Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez and Henry "HenryG" Greer.

Below you can find the groups:

bruh are you insulting my intelligence))))) I was referring to the popular repetition of the word "well" to show mock surprise and sarcasm not well as in my boy mix, but I do understand that such a statement might be difficult for you to understand. Plus, mixwell is staying in NA for a while, he's under contract in c9

not that huge boost though cuz points u gain from event like this with no top 10 teams is pretty low, like this is even worse than summit... Also wouldn't surprise me to see g2 or furia with their full lineup beat ence xddd, snakence can't be trusted.

G2 should win this one tbh. I put ence as top 2 contender. BIG was so bad at dreamhack sevilla. I doubt that they can do anything in this too. Maybe a semifinal for them.

Most likely going to be Ence vs G2 final. If Ence keeps up same steady grow they showed in CAC, then Ez4Ence. If not, disband.
