Giants to build new roster around fox for 2020
Giants will undergo a major overhaul of their squad, with only Ricardo "fox" Pacheco remaining on the roster, the organisation's owner, José Ramón Díaz, has confirmed.
The announcement came after a report from Fraglider revealed a split in the Giants camp, with Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes, Ricardo "roman" Oliveira, Omar "arki" Chakkor and coach Ricardo "AIm" Almeida forming one of the factions.
The quartet are on the lookout for a new organisation to represent in 2020 after Giants decided against renewing their contracts. The Spanish organisation have tasked fox with the responsibility of building a new roster and will also part ways with Claudio "Cunha" Cunha, who had joined the team at the same time as arki.

In a Twitter post, AIm confirmed that the search for a new organisation is underway and revealed that his team is complete. According to Fraglider, the OFFSET duo of Tiago "JUST" Moura and Renato "stadodo" Gonçalves will be brought in to complete the roster.
HLTV.org knows that Giants are considering the possibility of looking outside of the Iberian peninsula for talent. fox has competed in several international teams in the past, including Kinguin, G2, FaZe and dignitas.
Giants attended the BLAST Pro Series stop in Madrid earlier in the year, beating NiP and pushing ENCE and Cloud9 to their limit. Last month, the team won Master League Portugal IV and GameGune 21, but they ended the year on a sour note after finishing in fourth place at the Polish Esport League Autumn 2019 Finals.
