ex-Space Soldiers trio reunite in Turkey5

Engin "⁠MAJ3R⁠" Küpeli has announced that he has decided to create a new team alongside ex-Space Soldiers teammates Ahmet "⁠paz⁠" Karahoca and Engin "⁠ngiN⁠" Kor.

The 28-year-old returns to a Turkish team after an unsuccessful nine-month period on LDLC, the team he had left ex-Space Soldiers for in March 2019. In a Twitlonger post, he admitted to "missing playing with my heart, leading and having more responsibility".

His departure leaves LDLC with just two players and the team's future even more uncertain. Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer's side ended 2019 by placing second at ESL Championnat National Winter and in WESG West Europe with Gaëtan "⁠JiNKZ⁠" Jamin and Simon "⁠tabz⁠" Feldt acting as stand-ins.

MAJ3R reunites with ngiN, paz and hardstyle in Turkey5

Joining the former Space Soldiers trio in this new adventure are Beyaz?t "⁠beyAz⁠" Körpe, who played alongside paz and ngiN on Demise, and Ekrem "⁠l0gicman⁠" Aydin, who impressed during his time with Arena Bulls, averaging a 1.24 rating across all tournaments.

MAJ3R hopes that this team can be a "version 2.0 of what we did with Space Soldiers", the team he notably led to back-to-back Major appearances in 2018 and to a runner-up finish at the WESG 2017 Finals.
