Brackets drawn for FLASHPOINT closed qualifiers

The brackets for the three regional FLASHPOINT closed qualifiers have been determined.

The European bracket will feature 32 teams, while half that number will compete in the North American and South American tournaments. All three closed qualifiers will utilize double-elimination, best-of-three brackets, with the European qualifier taking place from February 14-17, and the two Americas qualifiers playing out with one less day as a result of fewer total teams, from February 14-16.

Spirit claimed the top seed in the European bracket

The top two teams from each region will advance to the Global Qualifier, which will be held at the FACEIT studio in Los Angeles, California from March 3-5. This offline stage will determine the final two teams who will enter FLASHPOINT in its inaugural season, where they will be joined by the league's ten franchise partners, six of which have already been revealed.

Below you can find the initial match-ups for the three regions, as well as navigate to our event pages for each qualifier where you can find match times and further details:

No, I just don't see many of these teams standing a chance to qualify let alone compete in the league. Also what does money have to do with this? Unless you're saying that BR teams will bring in viewers but they still have to qualify

A German espousing European superiority... quelle surprise.

I know that. I was more curious about them not being mentioned in the earlier announcement with the list of teams supposedly participating. Turns out they are a replacement for Project X, who are no longer playing the closed qualifier for whatever reason.

They won't qualify most likely either so it doesn't matter. I mean they need to become top 2 in the qualifier as well as at the lan qualifier. Big and Sprout met each other so many times in those situations as well, just unluko

I really like Movistar Riders and i hope they do, but i think its going to be difficult, especially as they seemed to struggle the past 2 or 3 days in their matches. They can but its gonna be hard. As for Cream, i can't they much, as i never watched a match nor do i know them
