ESL Pro League Season 11 teams, schedule revealed
The participating teams and schedule for the upcoming 11th season of ESL Pro League, which will run from March 16 to April 12, has been announced by the organizers.
The 11th season of ESL Pro League will span four weeks, with the first three reserved for the best-of-three round-robin group stage played in a live studio setting, in which the 24 participants will be spread across four groups.
The first-placed teams in each group will play against each other in the "Play-in", which will award the winning sides a spot in the semi-finals, while the losing sides will go to the quarter-finals. In the meantime, second to third-placed teams will make it to the first round of playoffs.
When the playoffs reach the quarter-finals, the competition will move from the studio to an as-yet-undisclosed arena location.
After announcing the 24 teams invited to the event, ESL has now confirmed that all of them have accepted. 13 of them received a place due to their partnered status, while the rest comprises the remaining Season 10 Finalists (excluding Cloud9 and MIBR, who are part of FLASHPOINT), winners of MDL Season 32, and the four teams next in line based on the ESL World Ranking.
