Complexity take down MIBR to set up clash with Gen.G
Complexity bested MIBR 16-11 on Dust2 in the last opening encounter at DreamHack Open Anaheim.
The European team once again showed impeccable LAN form and added another scalp to their collection, this time being MIBR's. The Brazilians were left chasing a seven-round deficit heading into the break, and despite showing improvements after switching to the CT side, were unable to complete the comeback in the second half. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's troops will fight for their tournament lives on Saturday against ENCE in a best-of-three clash between two teams ranked inside the top 20.
Complexity opened up their CT side with success, and despite a force buy victory for MIBR in the follower, managed to soldier on to accrue a four-round lead. Another minor upset from the Brazilians failed to halt the juggernaut, as Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and his men pushed back the aggressors with consistency, yielding them an 11-4 opening half.

MIBR secured the second pistol, alongside an additional two rounds, after which blameF ensured his team's first T-side conversion with a spectacular 1v2 post-plant clutch on A. The Brazilians kept at it until they reached double digits, later conceding momentum to their opponents off the back of an exceptional triple kill from Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke. This created space for Complexity to obtain map point, and after Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe offset his team's demise by a single digit, the home crowd favourites walked away with a 16-11 victory that puts them through to the winners' match against Gen.G.
