LEGIJA to stand in for Envy in Flashpoint
The absence of moose deals a significant blow to Envy's outlook at the start of the event in Los Angeles, with the 21-year-old being the team's third-best performer by averaging a 1.09 rating over thirteen maps, just below Michał "MICHU" Müller and Buğra "Calyx" Arkın.
The Canadian missing the opening matches of the league was first alluded to by Noah "Nifty" Francis, who indicated that their coach would need to practice after they arrived in California in a video posted by Envy.
When contacted by HLTV.org, moose confirmed that he was awaiting a visa in order to secure entry into the United States, but that he was uncertain as to when the application would be approved.
LEGIJA will need to get practice hours in fast, with his last official appearance dating back to August 2019 when he stood-in for BIG in the GG.BET ESL One New York qualifier. Prior to that, he had stepped down from active play in February 2018, leaving a lot of ring rust to be worked out.
