StarLadder partners with Parimatch to host $100,000 league

The Parimatch League CS:GO will have eight European and eight CIS teams competing online for a $100,000 prize pool between April 4 - May 3.

The event will mark StarLadder's return to CS:GO for the first time since the StarSeries i-League Season 8 in October, which saw Evil Geniuses lift the trophy. The Parimatch League will take place online, with teams competing over three stages.

Virtus.pro are one of the first invited teams

The action will kick off with open qualifiers for Europe and CIS on April 4-5, with two teams from each open qualifier securing a spot in the group stage. The two regions will play the group stage separately, with only two European and two CIS sides advancing to the final stage, in which the best teams from both regions will meet.

The schedule for the Parimatch League CS:GO is as follows:

Open qualifiers: April 4-5
Group stage: April 13-26
Final stage: May 1-3

You can find the signup links for the open qualifiers below:

CIS Open qualifier CIS - April 4-5
Europe Open qualifier Europe - April 4-5

As of now, three teams have been invited to the league: Virtus.pro, Spirit, and forZe, with more teams to be announced in the coming days.

People hating on these events but I am so happy to see quality matches every day for the next months. Nothing worse than waiting 3 months for good teams to play for one week and then do nothing for the next 4 months
