NEEX departs SMASH
Sebastian "NEEX" Trela has announced that he left SMASH, citing lack of progress and poor role distribution as the reason.
The Polish player was in SMASH since they signed their new roster at the start of 2020, and was a part of their effort in reaching the Europe Minor Closed Qualifier. After three months with the team, the 23-year-old has decided to leave the European mixture.

SMASH is currently ranked 68th in the world, the highest they have ever been, but lost all five BO3 matches they played in the last week across LOOT.BET Season 6, Home Sweet Home Cup, and Cyber.Bet cup.
Bad results prompted NEEX to leave the roster, citing roles that don't fit, a style that "completely didn't make sense", and lack of progress. The Pole also stated that he is "not the type of player who will stick to something at all costs, for example, to make good money", and announced he would share more information soon.
Meanwhile, SMASH have been spotted playing with Estonian player Kristjan "shokz" Jakobson, but revealed that they will be testing players in the coming weeks until they find the perfect fit. SMASH are currently represented by the following players:
Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov
Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun
Denis "grux" Gutaj
Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar
Kristjan "shokz" Jakobson (stand-in)
