GODSENT invited to Elisa Invitational

The European mixture GODSENT has been invited to the Nordic qualifier for BLAST Premier Spring Showdown Europe, with seven out of eight teams for the event now confirmed.

The Elisa Invitational was planned as a LAN qualifier for BLAST Premier Spring Showdown, but both the qualifier and the event itself were moved online due to the coronavirus outbreak, with the competition now set to take place on April 30 - May 3.

GODSENT are one of the favorites for a Showdown spot

Following the announcement of Dignitas joining the team list, the tournament organizers behind the event have revealed that GODSENT will be invited as well. Despite GODSENT fielding only one Swedish player, it seems they have been handed the second Swedish slot for the event due to the organization's base.

Ranked #20 in the world, Mikail "Maikelele" Bill and co. are currently the highest-ranked squad confirmed for the event, and will be hoping to claim one of the top two spots that lead to the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown Europe.

The team list for the Elisa Invitational is as follows:

The following teams are confirmed for the European Showdown event:

Denmark Astralis
Sweden NIP
Europe Elisa Invitational
Europe Iberian qualifier
Europe Invite
France Vitality
CIS CIS Cup
Europe Elisa Invitational

learned, but it's still just 1 player. But that does not mean much since GODSENT entered as a Swedish team with only a Swedish player and org LOL. In fact, are the Germans closer to the Anglo-Saxon or Nordic? and gauls? and the Teutons? weren't they all barbarians or vikings?

Germanics and norse are a different heritage I think. Today though German culture is more close to nordic countries I think.

elisa invitation is an example that minors should adopt, divide europe between CIS, nordic and western, divide asia and OCE, divide america into 2 minor, and add africa. 8 vacancies, the last 2 vacancies are disputed between the second place of each of the regions (8 teams) as a new minor as it is done today. So Europe as a whole would have 3 guaranteed places and America 2 places. Hello VALVE!

On paper dig should win the invitational however we've seen they've just had middling results since forming. It's disappointing.

On paper ENCE or North should win, because they are higher ranked. Don't forget DIG haven't been in the game that long and they also just played a lengthy tournament without hallzerk. Their entire playstyle is centered around him. I felt they looked weak today against LDLC, but maybe LDLC were just strong.

Looking weak against LDLC shows this team will go nowhere.

True, but everyone has off games. Aside from Flashpoint where they were missing a very central piece of their lineup they haven't really had any bad showing. The Minor qualifier was great, both open and closed. We'll see how it goes, I'm confident they can beat Heretics on wednesday.

And put kRYSTAL as a coach and find new leader.
2020-04-18 13:07
Wdym Madden and STYKO can carry anytime, maybe replace Maikelele but don’t touch krystal, he’s the one who got them where they are along with Devilwalk.

That got them where they are? The thing is, they are a non-stabil T2-T3 team, i think that players like STYKO, Maden, zehN, deserve, and want to be higher than that. For me kRYSTAL should be coach, he is really smart guy, but his in game skill is just not enough to play in a team that want to be a solid T2. Maikelele no chance to stay either.

I don't know who formed NoChance, but they are currently in GODSENT. Maikelele isn't an owner of the organisation, and it wouldn't be a problem to remove him.
