ave open to coaching return
Danish Counter-Strike legend Alexander "ave" Holdt said on Monday that he is looking to work in esports again after more than a year away from the scene.
The 31-year-old put his coaching career on hold in February 2019 due to personal reasons after working for the North organisation for two years, as an analyst as a coach.
During his year-long tenure at the helm of North's main squad, he guided the team to victory at the DreamHack Open stops in Tours and Valencia, and at the Dreamhack Masters event in Stockholm. He was replaced by Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg, who spent a year on the job before being dismissed as North sought a different coaching approach in Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson.

Widely regarded as one of the best in-game leaders in CS 1.6, ave led the iconic Danish mTw lineup to multiple title victories between 2008 and 2010. He retired as a professional player in 2011 to focus on his studies, making a brief comeback in 2015 alongside former teammate Oliver "minet" Minet.
