ALEX on future: "Either Europe or North America is up for discussion"
Currently benched in Vitality following his decision to step down in March, the British in-game leader appeared in an episode of Duncan "Thorin" Shields' interview series 'Talk to Thorin' on Wednesday to discuss his time with the French team and his future plans.
While he shared that he has nothing concrete lined up for the time being, ALEX admitted that he is currently weighing up his options and revealed he would be open to a move across the Atlantic.
"Either Europe or North America is up for a discussion," he said in the interview. "I'm not tied to anything in Europe and I don't mind moving to NA. We have short careers as players [...] and career-wise you've gotta do what you've gotta do to make ends meet."
ALEX also explored the conditions in which he would like to join a new team in regard to travel schedule. The long time on the road had been cited as the main reason behind his decision to step down from Vitality, who had been unable to meet his wishes to free up the team's calendar after becoming long-term partners with ESL and BLAST.
"If I had free reign, it would possibly be to go to a Flashpoint team because there's less travel involved of two times three weeks in NA, and you'd just be able to choose your calendar," he said. "Most BLAST and ESL teams aren't in Flashpoint, so you have the possibility of declining events and being able to have a healthy calendar."
