Gamers Without Borders schedule revealed

The $2 million Gamers Without Borders charity event will take place on May 29-31 with five matches in Europe and a showmatch in North America.

The full Gamers Without Borders charity tournament schedule has been made public, with G2 and FaZe facing off in the first playoff round on one side of the bracket and fnatic going up against OG on the other during the first day of play on Friday, May 29.

Saturday will feature the semi-finals with Natus Vincere taking on the winner of G2 vs. FaZe and MOUZ joining the fray against the victor of fnatic vs. OG. The second day of action will also be when the North American showmatch takes place, with Liquid and 100 Thieves facing off at 22:00 .

G2 will go up against FaZe in their opening match

The single-elimination bracket will be mostly best-of-threes, as will be the North American showmatch, but the grand final will be to the best of five maps. More notably, the whole tournament will be MR12 (the first team to reach 13 rounds wins), a hot topic which was recently discussed on HLTV Confirmed.

When all is said and done and the tournament put forth by the Saudi Arabian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports (SAFEIS) comes to an end, the winner will get $750,000 to donate to a charity of their picking to help fight the spread of COVID-19.

The full schedule for the weekend is the following:

Friday, May 29

18:00 - France G2 vs. Europe FaZe
21:00 - Sweden fnatic vs. Europe OG

Saturday, May 30

16:00 - Russia Natus Vincere vs. France G2/Europe FaZe
19:00 - Europe MOUZ vs. Sweden fnatic/Europe OG

22:00 - United States Liquid vs. Australia 100 Thieves

Sunday, May 31

19:00 - Gamers Without Borders 2020 Grand Final

2020-05-28 12:40
They are still ranked number 1 and just won the RTR round 1 Loosing an irrelevant match to g2 when they already qualified is whatever. Using good strats and actually winning is more dumb in this case. Mouz and Astralis are 1:1. Astralis haven't met Navi in months. Loosing to fnatic in a close long game isn't bad but regardless Fnatic didn't qualify but Astralis and NiP did. Astralis Beat NiP, NiP beat Fnatic and Fnatic beat Astralis. So who is best?
