bodyy and afroo join LDLC
LDLC announced the benching of LOGAN and Gringo last week, leaving two vacant positions in the team's starting five. The French organization has now revealed the two open spots will be filled by bodyy, who left LDLC in 2016 to join G2 when he was 19-years-old, and afroo.
The move marks bodyy's return to a professional team a year after his departure from G2, with whom he won an ECS, an ESL Pro League and a DreamHack Masters, as well as competing at several Majors in his three-year tenure with the superteam.
During the past year, bodyy focused his efforts on a personal project, FiveG, where he played with Matthieu "matHEND" Roquigny and Antoine "to1nou" Pirard, teammates from his time in LDLC White, although the team was unable to find organizational backing and struggled with middling results in online qualifiers and local tournaments.
The former G2 player joins LDLC with one of his FiveG teammates, afroo, who was nominated in the up-and-coming player category in last year's VaKarM awards and started playing with bodyy following David "devoduvek" Dobrosavljevic's departure from the orgless team in late 2019.
