9INE sign ESL Turkey Championship winners Boca Boston

The Turkish squad Boca Boston has joined the Swedish organization 9INE following their success in the domestic ESL event.

Boca Boston grabbed some attention at the end of May, when they faced off against Sangal in the ESL Turkey Championship Winter 2020 grand final. With former Space Soldiers trio Engin "⁠MAJ3R⁠" Küpeli, Ahmet "⁠paz⁠" Karahoca, and Engin "⁠ngiN⁠" Kor on the other side, Boca Boston were considered underdogs, but managed a 3-1 victory in the BO5 nonetheless.

The young Turkish squad has been signed by 9INE

With an average age of 19, the young squad is also quite unproven, with Yasin "⁠xfl0ud⁠" Koç recording a couple of HLTV matches with Arena Bulls, while Baran "⁠Izzy⁠" Yılmaz and Caner "⁠CyderX⁠" Demir were a part of an earlier Sangal lineup. The final two players, İbrahim "⁠MYTH⁠" Berat Yüksel and Doğukan "⁠QutionerX⁠" Dural, have not recorded a single match until the ESL Turkey Championship grand final last month.

The team, currently ranked #136 in the world, will take on AGO today at 17:00 in the ESL European Championship, and is also competing in Winners League and ESEA Advanced.

I know HLTV doesn't care about minor tournaments, but if you going to do a post related to the singing of a team, you should do research instead of implying "It's because they gained attention in the only match we have highlighted them". Bocaboston is 5-0 on ESEA Advance, with a convincing win over Winstrike. And besides results, they actually look like pretty interesting prospects (ridiculous aiming) We'll see how it goes up for them.
