WePlay! Clutch Island Closed Qualifier team list finalised

The closed qualifier for the second Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournament in the CIS region, called WePlay! Clutch Island, is set to start following the end of the open qualifiers.

Moscow Five Academy, CR4ZY, and HellRaisers claimed the final spots in the closed stage after topping the open qualifiers, with teams like pro100, Cyber Legacy and 1WIN all falling short.

The qualified trio will now progress to the first stage of the closed qualifier, joining five invited teams, including forZe, Gambit Youngsters and Syman, in a double-elimination group stage with two groups of four teams.

jR's HellRaisers qualified for the closed stage via the second open bracket

The top two teams from both groups will then face off in another double-elimination group, from which three teams will advance to the main tournament. In it, they will join the five teams with the most points in the CIS RMR ranking, including the winner of ESL One: Road to Rio, Spirit, and the current world No.1, Natus Vincere.

The following eight teams will take part in the closed qualifier, which will kick off on June 16:

The team list for the WePlay! Clutch Island currently looks as follows:

WePlay! Clutch Island will run from June 23-28, with the winner securing $15,000 and 2000 RMR Points. Hard Legion currently lead the RMR ranking in the region, with 1640 points, and are closely followed by Spirit (1600). NAVI are ranked fifth in the region (1430) following a disappointing run in ESL One: Road to Rio, in which they failed to make the playoffs.

I see, at first i was like "wtf?", but i suppose its "legit" then if they invite according to RMR ranking. But i still think forZe and Nemiga >>> VP and Winstrike. But thanks for telling me.

Wow 1 win = VP > Nemiga? And before you mention the 9-2 total match score between them, i am just talking about 2020, the other 10 games was in 2019.

hltv.org/matches/2340887/forze-vs-winstr.. forZe-Winstrike is basically 50-50 VP and forZe have only played 1 time this year, so, you cant really compare them.
