sAw open to offers for team

SAW have announced that they are prepared to listen to offers for their squad.

In a statement, the Portuguese organisation stressed that they will only consider offers that "are fair and will help" the players, who have allegedly attracted interest from other teams in recent times. SAW added that, in case no concrete offers are made, they will continue to support the team "at least until the end of the year."

"The goal of the organisation was always to find sponsors that could make this project sustainable, considering that, at an early stage, it was created and managed by the players and staff, and only later became professional," the organisation added.

sAw are currently ranked 45th in the world

SAW was created at the start of the year following a split in Giants between Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco and the trio of Christopher "⁠MUTiRiS⁠" Fernandes, Ricardo "⁠roman⁠" Oliveira and Omar "⁠arki⁠" Chakkor, who decided to create their own team, linking up with the ex-OFFSET duo of Renato "⁠stadodo⁠" Gonçalves and Tiago "⁠JUST⁠" Moura.

The team have gone on to enjoy success regionally, most recently beating Heretics to the Orange Unity League title. After qualifying for the BLAST Spring Showdown, they defeated Vitality and played a close match against ENCE in the round-robin stage.

SAW, who will take part in this weekend's closed qualifier for DreamHack Open Summer, have the following roster:

If you want to make it seem as he was "crying" do you. Looking at the full interview and putting the clip into context it looked more like a communication problem (He's even touching things on his screen). He was mad (and sweaty), but that's it. Every tournament is as important as the last one. Heretics objective after ending 5-6 in the first RMR is trying to get to Rio. They already secured Cologne too, so anything else is a bonus. sAw still doesn't know who they might play against in the closed qualifier, while Heretics knew RMR rivals prior match against sAw (the last 2 on monday because of seeding). Heretics going 0-2 in the summit was pretty possible. Group was hard as proven that Faze is out too. Even if they had won OG, they'll probably had lost to BIG in the winners match and had to play either Faze or OG again. But as I said priot that to many tugas with hard understanding, it doesn't matter how they ended up performing to know they were focusing on summit. Is simple. I don't know how they played today, but they probably played like trash and got tilted as fast as things went wrong after their summit performance. But still, they have another RMR event to look forward in order to get to rio. And if not as favorable as before this event they still have a reasonable chance to make it (thanks to their performance in the first one) while sAw has to focus on ESEA Advanced playoff. As I said, there's no way Heretics prepared that final at the same level sAw did. And there's no way Heretics showed everything they've been practicing 2 days ahead of the RMR. It doesn't make sens. All the conditionals point that way and is understandable. And as I said doesn't mean in a normal setting sAw wouldn't win. Both were playing the same "leagues" and performing equally not too many months ago. Maybe stadodo is now "better" because he is playing internationally and that helped to step up. I think he's improved for many reasons. He has a better team around him and now he's practicing against better teams (sometimes practicing against tier 1 and practicing a lot against tier 2). OFFSET also had a really bad map pool and I think that was holding him back a bit.

Mut is literally the player with more firepower in the iberian scne and maybe in the world, however he´s in game leading the team and he can´t shine so much. Rmn is pretty good aswell, arki is more of a smart player and then stadodo and Just do their job. why would someone sign a team that has done almost nothing internacionally? they went to blast from the iberian qualifier, they are in the dreamhack clsoed qualifier because they won a iberian qualifier, i mean they are very good dont get me wrong and i would like to see them getting bought but i dont think its whorth it tbh

They won almost everything they could on a domestic level with only 6 months as a team. All that and also could qualify to blast and dreamhack and compete with tier 1 teams. And as they are a org owned by the players, they basically have no conditions and don't earn that much. But they are ranked 45 in the world. Imagine what they could do in an organized and competent org. I could see them being a good tier 2 team with major appearances in the next 1-2 years, if they have the conditions

did you read what i said? they are the best in the iberian scene, but they didnt acheive anything outside that, yes they played tier 1 teams but they achieved that via iberian qualifier... its not worth it for a org to pick a team that is only playing those events thru iberian scene, a closed qualifier with european teams i dont think they are going to to well imo
